RITU is Aangan Charitable Trust’s dedicated initiative for menstrual health, hygiene, dignity and awareness among girls and women. Through education, advocacy and community engagement, RITU breaks myths, challenges stigma and helps people understand menstruation as a natural and healthy part of life.
What we do
- Conduct menstrual health and hygiene awareness sessions
- Distribute sanitary pads and menstrual hygiene kits to underserved communities
- Organise educational workshops in schools, colleges and communities
- Promote safe menstrual hygiene practices and reproductive health awareness
- Encourage community dialogue on health, dignity and gender equality
